Perfect Crochet Edges
How to achieve smooth and knot free edges when finishing your crochet pieces.
How to Create an Invisible Join
The invisible join finishing method gives you a clean, smooth and knot free finish to your crochet pieces. It creates a v stitch that looks like the stitches either side making it difficult to see where the join is and giving you a bump free surface to work into should you need to.
Take a look at the video for full instructions for how to complete the stitch, but, if you are just after a quick refresher there are 3 key steps to remember.
Once you have completed the stitch cut the yarn and pull the tail through.
Using a tapestry needle take the yarn under the two loops of the stitch you want to join to and back through the centre of the last stitch.
Turn to the back: secure and weave in end.
